About us
Musikdinge is an owner-run specialist store in Vienna's 3rd district, focused entirely on drums, orchestral percussion and hand percussion. No guitar wall, no keyboards – only instruments you hit.
By musicians, for musicians
We play ourselves – in orchestras, bands and as teachers. So we know how a well-tuned head sounds, which mallet suits which piece and which cymbal works in which room. We only stock what we would recommend ourselves.
From practice pad to concert timpani
Drum kits, snares, cymbals, heads, sticks and mallets for beginners and pros; timpani, marimbas, vibraphones, glockenspiels, gongs and effects for orchestras, music schools and wind bands – plus a wide range of percussion sheet music.
Viennese tradition
Alongside international brands we carry instruments and accessories from the Viennese timpani tradition. If you play percussion in Vienna, you will find the right heads, mallets and music here.
