The Malletech Orchestral Series OR42R Mallets sound clean, bright, and full at all dynamic levels. A slightly higher mass produces a greater fundamental response, making these particularly well-suited for synthetic xylophones.
The Malletech Orchestral Series of mallets is the answer for models targeted for specific excerpts, as well as a movement toward lighter, smaller heads for certain applications. The mallets were designed in collaboration with William James, principal percussionist of the St. Louis Symphony.
